UCLU American Football Club will be holding a training camp for returning players and new players with past experience of American Football. A training camp for novices/rookies will take place on Sunday 16th October.
The senior camp aims to remind players of concepts, playbooks, and to assess physical fitness after the summer holidays.
Players must bring their own packed lunches and bottles of water, and a light and dark shirt to wear.
Cycling casually alongside riverside pathways, cycle lanes and park routes, ensuring your complete safety at all times, the tour includes stops at highlights such as the London Eye, Big Ben and the Houses of Parliament, Westminster Abbey and Buckingham Palace. We also go in search of the Prime Minister at Downing Street, the Spies at MI5 and the Horse Guards at Whitehall!
Tickets £10 including bike hire and helmet

Ah, the Great British Barbecue. While we love a "barbie" as much as our Aussie counterparts, we certainly can't guarantee the sunshine. But we can promise undampened spirits, a beautiful venue and a flippin' good burger included in the cost of your ticket. Plus a great chance to meet new students and have a good old chat without even leaving campus.
Tickets £3.50 and include a burger (veggie option and halal meat available)

Here’s your introduction to UCLU’s Writing & Language Service (WALS) as we take a rather more abstract look at the english language. Practice idioms and familiarise yourself with English and London slang - you’ll soon be feeling like a local!
Can't make it? Come along to our Tuesday session.
We get it. Only so much stuff is going to fit in your suitcases but you don't want to buy loads of expensive stuff here either, because it won't fit in your suitcase to take home when your studies are over.
Fear not, UCLU has a solution. At this bring and buy sale, students who are leaving the UK are selling all of the household objects that they just can't take home, at bargain prices. Drop in to see what's up for grabs.
